Part 3 - Test of your Instructional Abilities
We offer a minimum of 40 hours one to one in car tuition, using your own or a school car
This part of the exam consists of two phases
Phase 1
The examiner roles plays a learner driver with little or no experience. You are expected to teach them one of the 10 pre-set tests.
Phase 2
The examiner will now play a learner driver around test standard. You are expected to demonstrate your fault finding and correctional abilities.
- Each phase takes around 25/30 minutes
- You must attain at least a grade 4 in both phases
- You are allowed 3 attempts at this section of the exam
If you fail your third attempt you must wait at least 2 years before you can restart the training process again.
